Open Data # Usable Data

Releasing the full potential of Open Data

Collecting, cleaning and combining open data from dispersed sources under a common schema. Ontology fusing the best practices of the strictly typed and the loosely classified schemas provides a multidimensional view of the data. Multigraphs ensure the data’s integrity and quality

Multigraphs: A new approach to Knowledge Graphs creation, update and maintenance
Unigraph is a combination of many smaller, independent and interconnected graphs. Each graph is generated with the same storage and encoding principles and shares the same schema with the rest

This allows facts and relationships to build up and expand on each other when the separate graphs merge into a single multigraph. At the same time, as each graph is kept separate its maintenance and improvement is much easier. It is possible, for example, to keep adding new mappings and extractions on the side, continuously evaluate and improve the results and only then push the improved graph to Unigraph

Any Source, Size and Format

Internal mappings and extraction tools continuously process large data dumps or periodically download small files to reflect incremental changes

Interlinked data

More than 1000 Identifiers (unique IDs) for referencing and connecting Unigraph’s data to external repositories (freebase, wikidata, etc.)

Any Data in Any Language

Generic Knowledge Graph accommodating any kind of data – from company financials to meteorological readings, in any language

Claims and qualifiers

We record a main fact: A is connected to B, and expand it with supporting claims – “qualifiers” to add nuances such as source, time, place, etc.

Pure Data

Unigraph simply records the data the way the original source reports it and leaves the interpretation to the user

Two step reconciliation

Data is first reconciled within its own, independent graph and a second time against all multigraphs during Unigraph’s generation
Get the monthly data dump

We collect, clean and combine Open Data. We contribute the data back to the community via our monthly data dumps as we firmly believe that knowledge should be free and accessible

Innovate with the Unigraph API

Leverage the world’s knowledge with just a few lines of code. The Unigraph API is the most easy and efficient way to query large amounts of data about any from the world we live in

Dedicated and isolated instance

Multigraphs are great for reconciliation and enrichment of proprietary data. An on-premise installation of the Unigraph engine is independent, secure and can handle just about any data
